These are about a year old, sealed 12" Infinity 1262w. Each occupy their own 1.25^ft space in a single 30"x14.75"x14" cabinet:

baniels, those are full range drivers, correct? They do pretty good? And is it just a ported box or is there more to it?

@SVonhof Yes, full range ported with a small 3-component filter network. The history of this design can be found at the following link.

Just a little sub array we built for a club client a few years ago... 16 Bag End 18's. Response goes down to 8 Hz. 1500 lbs.

We have 4 Powersoft 4000w digital amps powering them (1kW per speaker).

It apparently wasn't quite loud enough for them, though, as we recently added 16 more.

Working on a slightly smaller version for my home system

After the stain dries , I put on a coat of Varathane to seal the wood then it gets multiple coats of automotive panel clear coat. I sand with 400>1000 >2000 wet or dry then power polish with a foam pad and finish with a wool pad. The front is just rattle can black with the clear coat over it. I have a full 5.0 set with towers that I am in the process of doing. I tried to do the fronts with metallic red but the magnets really messed up the metal flakes.

Here are the other speakers I have built

Thought I would join in on this thread, altho these are now being replaced with a new set of speakers. They sure sound good and effortlessly!

I ran them with my Class A 15watt amps, and they sounded amazing..

Pair of Speakers i built years ago, that i had to dismantle and keep the drivers.

Another pair of speakers i had, that i loved to bad some one broke into my house tried to steal them but couldn't move them ( heavy ) so the ripped the tweeter off and punched the drivers so i couldn't fix them
