Infancy stages of dedicated outdoor theater

Just purchased a new property. It came with a already made covered stage. I plan on putting an outdoor theater using this as the backdrop.

Thought I would start a thread. Long time lurker, going to be getting ideas from here as I go.

Curious as to if I would have room for a short throw for the projector to go behind the screen. Interested in quality of image if that were the case. New to the projector game as well... so may not work just going to research at this point and always up for helpful suggestions/ideas.

Short throw would work great. You could mount it on one of the joists. Challenge with Short throw is you can't start movies until it is pretty dark outside. I'm not sure if there is a short throw that has the output to combat ambient light. I have an LG Short Throw Projector that works great but we have black out curtains for our patio that allow us to start a movie while there is still some light outside. That stage is great though. Perfect idea for a projector screen and even your speaker setup. Good luck with your project.
