Up and running.....

So far from complete, but had 2nd movie night this weekend. Learned a lot from the first go which made setup and take down much easier. Really appreciate all the threads and advice throughout this forum - there was lots to learn before taking the plunge. Using a Carl's 16:9 245", entire screen lifts off the brackets and can be stored under the deck. Sturdy and light enough for 2 adults to carry. Projector is an Epson Pro L1300. Working on a retaining wall and then will see about something more elegant than a Rubbermaid cart for the projector and a nice pergola for the screen.

Excellent example of picking the right too for the job!

I'm sure that the actual "being there" performance is much more impressive than your photo indicates, and it's a very nice photo.

Enjoy the summer and your backyard theater!
