Help with 1980's Panasonic CT-6000 front projector

Hi,

I have this Panasonic CT-6000 projector from 1980.
Typical 3-tube projector furniture-type with mirror on the lid and screen.

I've been looking for the service manual in the regular sites where I use to find them with no luck. it seems like it is not a very popular unit.

Just in case, does any of you have this manual available?

The problem with it is that the focus changes with the contrast control por example, and also the focus changes according to how much white the image has. More white means more consumption so either the +B power supply has an issue or the HV power supply has a problem.

I need the schematics for it and the service manual would be great!

Any ideas about what can be causing the problem?

Thabks a lot in advance.

That looks like an old RCA or Hitachi chassis. I'd bet that Nordmende never made it, but relabeled one of the Japanese chassis. I'd google those brands to see if you can cross the model number. It could also be a Sony chassis, but I don't think so.

Had a couple of these with the focus problem. Its the high voltage focus resistors on the HV pack. I did make up a external mod that worked but that was many years ago. If I remember correctly I used the big stick resistor from a early Rank Arena TV.

Just in case, do you have se service manual or schematics to help me working with it?
I wonder how you managed to get access to the terminal with the focus voltage.

The focus change only on bright contrast pic with a lot of white, when the crts have more consumption.
