Bridging Speakers in Series

I have a Rockville RXM-S6 amp. 6 channel amp with what looks like a lot of options for bridging. I will bypassing factory amp in a 6 speaker system. This is a marine amp but want to install in an SUV.

Head Unit has only 4 channel out plus sub. My sub will be on different amp. All speakers are 4ohm.

Question: Up front I want to have my 2 Alpine type R 6x9 2-ways in series with my 2 Infinity 3.5 inch speakers and have this bridged at amp. So that will occupy 4 terminals. The other 2 terminals would power 2 6.5 inch Alpine Type R 6.5 inch 2 ways.

If I understand the calculations right, running the 6x9's and 3.5's in series would be 8ohms. Would bridging it on the amp result in 4ohm with a little more power?

My other thought was to just run it as a 4 channel and not even hook up the 6.5's. The rear speakers aren't that well positioned anyway.
