GoPro Hero 8 4K 'HyperSmooth High' Test Video: Fall Colors in the Rain

HEVC at 100 Mbps, Hypersmooth High (a new improved stabilization in the Hero 8). This is a video you cannot shoot with many cameras: the camera needs to be waterproof and also have superb stabilization so you can leave the gimbal home so it does not get wet.

How is the stabilization? As good as any gimbal I have used - rock steady static shots, smooth moves with the camera, including pans and curving around. You can see it all here.

Not the best video for checking resolution (which looks good), as in many shots raindrops on the lens fuzz the picture (but a nice effect and you know the camera is not being protected).

HyperSmooth in Bright Light (with ND Filter)

Shooting in bright light with an f2.8 lens wide open (GoPro's do not have irises) will result in very high shutter speeds and perhaps odd motion. I used a 16X ND filter to reduce the shutter speed.
