Playback 4K home videos on Panasonic UB820

Hi I have a Sony A7 III camera that I use for home videos. I've noticed that my Panasonic UB820 looks really soft (like it's downgrading them to 1080P) at playing UHD files recorded at 100mbs on a 110" display. My LG OLED plays the same files and it looks amazing. What are you all using to playback your 4K home video files.
I have a portable HDD that I put the files on now and plug that into the device. I might try to stream them via Apple TV from a NAS next.

You may have the UB820’s output set incorrectly. I routinely play A7iii & G9 4K files via the front panel USB input from an SD card reader and it looks great on my LG OLED.
