Current Samsung EX link protocol

I've been away from this forum for a very long time
But like a bad penny, I keep coming back I need to replace my failing Samsung UN60ES7500 flat screen with a Samsung UN65KS9800. Control for the Sammy is through the EX link port. I contacted Samsung hoping to get the latest RS-232C protocol from them and all they sent me 2 days later was a password reset email I was told that the protocol was different.
All I need is on and off as it is mostly just a monitor. Everything else is done at the rack. Right now what is working with the old set is
ON \X08\X22\X00\X00\X00\X02\XD4
OFF \X08\X22\X00\X00\X00\X01\XD5

Can anyone confirm if this will work with the new TV or if not, what to change it to. Thanks,
Chip

These are the commands I am using for a Samsung DM55E using the EXLink Protocol.

Power On \xAA\x11\xFE\x01\x01\x11
Power Off \xAA\x11\xFE\x01\x00\x10
Vol + \xAA\xB0\xFE\x01\x0A\xB6
Vol - \xAA\xB0\xFE\x01\x0B\xB6

How old is that tv? My current one is from 2012. Where did you get that protocol?

This TV a commercial model not a consumer model.

I have found there are a lot of varying version of samsung's EX Link out there (no idea why), these particular codes came from remote central. I played around with it quite a bit before I found these that worked.

I have also had good luck with these codes as well on some EXLink Sets.

Do you have access to the new display yet?

If you do, you can always verify these codes with your computer with a USB to serial adapter using a program like Putty. This is usually a lot faster than testing through a control system.

That looks like the same link as where I found what I'm currently using.
I do not have the new set yet. Went to BB yesterday to look at it. Was unable to get behind it to confirm it even had EX Link but have been told that it does.
Tech support said the protocol is different then the sheet I used in 2012 but could not tell me more then that. Hoping the new one just has more features to control meaning a bigger list of commands

Sorry to break this open again. I have a 2020 model QE55LS03RAS which I'm controlling over RS232 via ExLink.
When I send Power OFF, the TV goes to full standby, not ART Mode. I'm looking for a discrete ART-Mode command to go to Art instead of standby, just like a short press on Power Toggle on the remote does.

Try these, no guarantee though. You will need to escape them for your control system since it's hex as you know

Top should on ON, bottom OFF

08 22 0b 0b 0e 01 B1
08 22 0b 0b 0e 00 B2
