Sound Issue for Sony 65w950b...

I recently purchased a Sony 65w950b and I like the picture but I am worried about
the sound reproduction....

I am on Cox Cable.

It appears to me that certain frequencies seem to come with a faint hiss/buzz/blur. Typically in
the higher frequencies.

The more complex the sound is, the more the distortion become noticeable.

I have fiddled with the sound settings and I have had the best success with
the Cinema setting and cutting back the higher frequencies by a couple of
notches in the equalizer.

Is this a common problem with the built in speakers? Should I try for a swap?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Sounds like you have a ground issue with the cable itself.
