Yeah for one of my units I did, a few more hours and I will have it here. I tried the 78" 9000 series it had terrible motion issues.

I just hope I did not spoil myself with the 78" size during the past week.

After I get the new unit setup, ask away any questions you want answered. I will post pics also.

Agreed seem to be pretty much the same units minus Fald.

Not to mention I got a pretty good deal on this one if I must say so myself.

They just delivered the unit and I just got everything setup (minus pic settings)

Initial impressions:

Factory settings look pretty good out of the box. (Watched a little Avatar and Transformers)

I do not see any blooming but it is pretty bright now in the room so I will reserve that for later.

Blacks look very Black, and colors really pop more so than the 9000 did.

I like the new Interface and remote very much, it is quick and very accurate.

I will elaborate more when I get it setup more to my taste and have a little run time on it.

So far I like it, just got to get use to the smaller size after having the 78" for a week.

Any questions ask away and I will do my best to answer them.

They forgot and left the one connect box for the 78" 9000, I guess I will need to take it back to them.

definitely when you get a chance, wouldnt mind hearing some picture processing comparisons with the JS9000 to the HU9000 and also 900b since you have a lot of time spent with the sony. black comparisons with the sony as well since 900b is known to have a pretty good black level. maybe even take a few pictures that "show off" what the tv can do as well!

I will be glad to post pics of the Samsung, I am just not sure how to showcase the pictures correctly.

The Black Levels are better than the Samsung from what I can tell from the short time messing with it.

4K Processing is much better compared to other Samsungs I had in the past, including the 78" 9000.

The really great thing is the Smart Interface and Remote is Great.

if you could give a percentage of how much better the PQ is would be great. Also does it have Cinema black? To achieve the native HDR colour must be set to native colour space(according to Samsung)

agree "native" if you want to see what expanded color looks like.

It may just be me, but personally think "Native" is misleading. It expands everything to sets "native" ~PCI color gamut, not whats "native" to content.

Quote:
Color Space Try Now
Adjusts the range of colors that can be displayed on the screen.
Auto: automatically adjusts the color space to match the input signal.
– Native: applies a range of colors that is wider than the input signal.
– Custom: allows you to adjust the color space manually

It may just be me, but personally think "Native" is misleading. It expands everything to sets "native" ~PCI color gamut, not whats "native" to content.
Yes and no cause reviewers did say it expands DCI on non HDR images.True HDR is done with Meta data

The hu9000 has cinema black but nowhere on any site is it listed as a feature. The js9000 will have cinema black. The question IS, do the lower models get cinema black??!

I am not sure of what percentage PQ you are asking about, but from any of the other Samsung LCD units I have owned including the 9000 it is much better.

I would say 15-20 percent but that is not scientific but just me using my eyes.

Black Levels are for sure allot better.
