My o40c does not do this. Can you take a video of the issue?

Apps(video) I have set different than Apps. There are links to both in my previous posts. I find the Apps tend to run a bit darker, so gamma is set to 0.

Q for 940C owners

Hi everyone. I'm expecting delivery on a 940C in the next week. Was just wondering if the Picture modes are all adjustable per input and are 2D/3D modes separately adjustable? Thanks.

They are adjustable per input. I don't think they are for 2D/3D.

Might try rebooting your TV (long-press on remote Power button) - in some cases I've seen my TVs chromecast disappear for short periods of time, random network/communication issues.

See if info here helps:

What page/site are these settings on? I only found the ones for the 940C.

To everyone with the 940C the judder/flicker issue is only happening with a few of us 930C owners who are sensitive to it apparently.

Nope - it's automatically enabled out of the box.

You should see your TV listed as a connection option for any Chromecast-capable app. But again, as noted, there can be networking issues sometimes that can cause the TV's listing to not show up.

It's not worth returning the set because of this imo. Ive put film mode on high for the time being and will see how this fairs. The page on rtings.com suggest this.

There have been many people on here who have not had very good things to say about the Rtings.com reviews. You will find much better info here on the AVS Forums

Ya, its not as easy as that. Products only have US warranty which will NOT work in a different country. Duty charges and other fees as well. For some it is worth the risk/reward and for some it is not.

Sony wireless sub

Just got the sony wireless sub yesterday. Only had a tiny chance to test it out before work. Bit of a technical question here. Does anyone know for a fact if the output from the TV's built in subwoofer is lessened whilst the wireless sub is being used? I just wondered if that would be the case since the wireless sub would do a better job of outputting base, or if the sound coming from the TV itself is not altered in any way at all, and that more base is simply provided from the wireless sub at the same time.

Just don't like the idea of the TV speakers being under utilized simply because a wireless sub is in the mix :P
