I just bought this TV last week. I came really close to buying the new 55" M series for HDR. I just couldn't get past the lack of an HDTV tuner since I'm a cord cutter who still watches local broadcasts via antenna. I also was not sold on the casting remote. For a budget purchase I'm very pleased. I got a great deal and it's 3" bigger than the other 55" sets I was considering. The picture quality is very good for this price point ($600). I plugged in the settings for last year's M series as was suggested in this thread. I prefer a bit more brightness, but I had no other issue with those settings. I think this TV is a solid choice for gamers too. Low input lag. The only disappointment is the lack of HDR, but I knew that when I bought it.

Hey guys, I'm surprised to see this thread is still going! My TV is still working excellent since I started this thread in November 2015, time goes by so fast!
