you tip a flat panel LCD HDTV?

This may the dumbest question ever asked, but, is it going to affect operation of my TV to tip it slightly up so the screen is better directed to the viewer? I see them angled down from walls in offices all over, but mine is on a low stand, on it's feet, and I want to put something under the front feet and tip it up a little. Any long term ramifications to the panel (bending) or technical components inside? Only about 10 degrees. Thanks!

you want your line of sight to hit the screen in the horizontal middle
that slight a tilt should be no issue wrt "bending" or interanl components

you may experience more issues with unintended light reflection depending on how much you can control the "darkness' and incidental light.

Should make no difference - does it make one when you buy a titled wall mount?
