I have bought a lot of camera gear from them, and never had any problems. Never bought a TV though.

They're a long time reputable seller, but TVs are not returnable so keep that in mind.

Also make sure they don't use UPS or FedEx or DHL to ship the TV (they break a lot of TVs).

Also see if you're allowed to open and thoroughly inspect the TV upon delivery while the driver waits to make sure it's not broken in the box, and not defective upon power-up. And if it arrives broken or defective, can you refuse the delivery without penalty.

I've had excellent results several times there at B&H including a return that went very well there I wouldent hesitate to recommend them .

OTOH I never bought a TV there so RW might be on to something well worth considering or at least verifying and then there is shipping damage potential he mentioned but anything I bought at B&H was packed real well with an outer box including some heavy stuff.

I bought my 55X850C and 6 other sets at the local Best Buy they are competitive price wise and will price match some web stores the newest one here is an XBR- 55X850C I'm satisfied with .

Yeah thats what was really leading me toward them and they dont charge sales tax in my state and on a tv that costs $1498 that saves a nice bit of money

Great prices, great service and an excellent return policy. I've bought a lot of equipment from them and I can definitely recommend them.

I purchased a 75" TV from their used department at an awesome price. The TV was not in as good shape as I had hoped, contacted them, and they immediately sent me a return RMA - return shipping paid by them, and my account credited a day after they got the return. They're super reputable, and my experience with this large TV - while the TV wasn't what I had hoped, the service related to the transaction was exceptional and courteous.

I bought a TV from them on the Black Friday sale. They shipped it by Purolater but it was an international delivery. Everything went very well.

If you are ever in NYC, you have to make time to stop at their store - like a full afternoon!

Awesome!
