I prematurely reported the tablet being bricked, the battery at the time of the issue was at 15% and would boot up, but immediately shut itself off after optimizing all the apps post update.
I left it off on the cradle overnight and with a full charge haven't had any issues in 2 days, also seemed to resolved playback issues with Google Play Movies and Youtube videos blacking out with audio still in the background.
Also found setting Color Space to Auto (Recommended) instead of RGB on the Xbox One S resolved the issue with green bars on top and sides appearing randomly after exiting HDR content.
I took the time to recalibrate the TV settings for gaming through the Xbox HDTV calibration tool and am much happier then just leaving it with the standard vizio gaming values.
I'd also like to thank Raven Crimson, I read one of his replies about leaving Clear Action on as before I left it off. It took 2 days but my eyes have adjusted, initially it was pretty straining on the eyes even with Gunnars on.
Any advice on leaving FALD on or off for gaming, ie: does it add latency? I have it on at the moment and prefer it that way but I do play multiplayer/pvp in Destiny occasionally was just curious if it is detrimental to latency at all.
Pretty happy camper at the moment with everything where it is.
