Yeah all my MA movies transferred over. Everything is 4K/HDR except for Disney stuff on the Apple Tv but that is a thing between Apple and Disney. Apple even has some of the Fox movies that Vudu didn't have in 4k/HDR but its a bummer that I had already redeemed them in Vudu and only got HD (Like Deadpool and Logan). Not sure if there is a way even now to get those movies to redeem in 4K (maybe MA now?).

Thanks for the reply. I'm impatient as **** when it comes to ordering things. I believe you can get the studio to put the 4k rights to those movies in your UV account if you email them, complain and jump through there hoops.

Unplugged my preamp from power and hdmi to the tv while went and visited family yesterday. Plugged it back in last night. DV/60 and HDR10/60 from the ATV both worked properly on my P75 again with the 4.x firmware.

Now to see if it still works tonight and try out the Xbox and PS4 in HDR/60 content.

P55 C1. Haven't noticed any issues since firmware update, however I mentioned a few weeks ago my status on indicator light burnt out. Anyone else have this issue? I'm not quite following the issue people seem to be having with hdr. I have my pc hooked up to HDMI 2 as I have my sound bar connected to hdmi 1 arc. Sound and everything still works fine and I can play Destiny 2 with hdr kicking in as it should from my pc that's hooked up to hdmi 2

Has anyone gotten anywhere with Vizio and fessing up about screwing up the latest firmware. Only way for me to get 4k HDR is use the trick posted. Any then it goes away each time I shut off.....bad bad Vizio

I will be contacting Vizio directly on Monday and will lodge a formal complaint while also demanding that answers be given soon.

I expressly made it clear that I needed to hear something from them to indicate that things were moving forward on this issue and fast. I was told that they began getting reports of the issue last week on either Wednesday or Thursday and that it was still in the research phase on their end. I asked whether or not they would be making a formal statement through the website or though forums to let people know that we're not talking to deaf ears. I was told that a statement would be coming but the time frame for that statement or even a fix if one will be pushed to the displays at all is still unknown. Sidebar: Vizio support has usually always been good and I can't image that this company won't be addressing the issue. It's just a matter of when! I want my God of War PS4 Pro playable in 4K 4:2:2 60hz HDR and not 2K 4:2:0 30hz HDR.

Please: If you're having this 4K 60hz HDR issue happening with your display (Likely all are with the new 4.0 update) then please call Vizio and lodge a complaint. Their brogrammers should be working serious OT right now to fix such issues.

Yea it sucks...big time. I won't be getting god of war until this is fixed now. I got other stuff I can play but was looking forward to that one though this year. Last Vizio purchase for me this is so ridiculous that no one tests the firmware over there before releasing it.

I can't give Vizio any slack on this error. If they did any actual testing on this firmware while connected to multiple equipment they would have seen this error. Even the whole Vudu thing was overlooked.

Yeah, why did it take 3 - 4 months to issue a new firmware if there wasn't any adequate testing? Was all this time just for development and no testing whatsoever? Do they only test on the Vizio itself with nothing at all connected to it?

I’ve had this TV for almost 2 years and I’ve been really lucky so far. No real issues, except for a period in late 2017 where the FALD was buggy. However, the downward spiral of support and buggy firmware is troubling. Think it might be time to give Costco a call.

I had this on the X after the latest update as well. I fixed it by cycling Full UHD color on the HDMI port.

This speaks loudly to how effective it was during the Matt days and having the avsforum be part of the beta group. Being a beta tester you signed up for bugs. Now, its like Vizio is using entire customer base as bug testers while telling us this is final product and its not a good business model.

I think the problem, although it was Vizio fault. Somehow non beta members were getting beta-firmware updates, when they shouldn't have.

They complained more than just posting problems they found so they can be fixed in a hot fix beta members and then later sent out to the masses.

What is wrong with Vizios email support? Its seriously like talking to a deaf sack of bricks. Ive had a ticket open since friday with them, and they just keep more or less asking the same questions over and over. They don't seem to even have a clue about the 4.x issues at all.

At least one of the Reddit guys is trying. I've been PMing back and forth with someone named Wayne on their official reddit support account.

I turned-on Subtitles with NetFlix last night. Maybe on a few scenes I saw some Backlight pulsing, but mostly it looked fine. I use Yellow Text over a Black Box background. Could this be more of a problem with the larger sized P-Series (65/75)?

If it's severe enough for some, they could turn-off ALZ (Xtreme Black Engine Pro) and back-down the Brightness. (I know some people freak-out when I say that, but let someone else who is reading decide for themselves if they can live with ALZ Off until the problem is fixed.)
