Though I only got my AVR last year, I might sell it later this year and purchase a newer model with HDCP 2.2 support.
To check the Vertical Frequency follow the steps that @DJ Lushious
provided in their reply.
OK thanks for the replies and I took another look confirming what Hz the content is on the Smartcast App.
My cables are new 6ft and 3ft Amazon HDMI I don't think they are an issue.
On the Denon X2200 I have video processing off, auto lipsynch on, 0ms audio delay.
From Sony BDPS3700 player through the AVR, I have no issues with 24Hz content, DVD, Bluray, Netflix or Amazon streaming sources...
From the new Tivo Roamio player through the AVR, I have no issues with 60Hz content from Netflix or Amazon app sources, but the lip synch is way off for 24Hz content. It can be fixed with upping the audio delay but that is a global setting and I'm not dialing it in and out every time I switch content.
As per other responses, the issue could be at several points in the P65 - Denon - Tivo chain, but I don't have a different display to swap with to validate the P65 is contributing, vs. it being only on Tivo / Tivo apps issue.
But thanks for the workaround on Tivo to set the video out to only 1080/60, then I don't have the lip synch issues from streamed content so I'll probably leave it there.
Casting and ARC work best, for Netflix, but the gap is no casting Amazon prime because of Google/Amazon relationship. I'll probably stream Amazon content from the BDP player for now as the Tivo apps also seem slower to start up and slower to move from SD to HD resolution than the Sony...
