RESPONSE FROM SAMSUNG RE: MISSING SOURCE ICONS
As of this afternoon, the engineers were trying to replicate the issue in their lab. They requested screenshots, model and firmware version numbers, and a list of the various devices that users of the KS Series have connected to their TVs. The chief of tech support and the director of product development are also being kept informed. The fact that at least three separate firmware versions are involved, across various models from Canada, the USA, and the UK is making the issue particularly difficult to troubleshoot. They first need to replicate the issue before they can identify and work from there to find a reliable solution. They appreciate the input of AVSF members who've devised workarounds, but they feel that owners should not have to deal with this issue at all.
