Question Native 240hz HDTV - Does such a thing exist?

Tired of all the marketing garbage (true motion, effective refresh rate, motion blur etc) and simply want to know if any company sells a true, native 240hz panel?
Thanks.

They do exist, although they aren't very common. Only one I can think of that comes to mind off the top of my head was a particular Sharp Quattron display a couple years ago although I'm sure there are many more.

I think all the true Native 240hz panels were 1080p. Since 4K I think everything is either 60hz or 120hz. Also I think most of the real 240hz Panels were IPS, VA has a very slow response time which I think makes Native 240hz difficult to achieve

Thanks. I'm potentially looking for a new screen for both movies and gaming. I currently have a 1080 120hz screen, so I guess I'll hold off for a while. Gaming monitors are of no interest to me as my gaming is mostly racing simulations and I'm sure rift cv2 will be amazing

Sony 55" W900A 1080p was native 240hz and a VA panel (made for Sony, from what I understand). Prob still available on eBay and some other online retailers.
