Question Xbox One S and 4K 60Hz 8bit 4:2:0, does gaming work in 4K?

Hi all,

Am considering the Xbox One S for its built-in upscaling and more compact form.

However, I have a 2014 Sony 79x900B which I believe over HDMI can either do:

1. 4K @30Hz 12bit 4:4:4
2. 4K @60Hz 8bit 4:2:0

So looking at Microsoft's support pages, it's not 100% clear if the TV has to support 10bit at 60Hz.

Has anyone tried the Xbox One S with a 4K 60Hz TV at 8bit?

Really only interested in upscaled gaming, and thinking ahead of the next console.

Isn't 4:2:0 the only supported way to do 60hz at 4k anyway? I have an LG tv so I have no way to confirm cause no info screen, but I can confirm I can set the xbox one s to 4k and 8bit at the same time . Now whether or not it's actually doing 4k I have no way to validate, but it seems just as sharp.
