@Matt McRae

looking forward to checking it out. Beta test games and phones on occasion, so this should be fun.

Anyone have issues with Casting 4k Youtube content with the new firmware? I tried it last night and it stayed at HD(1080p). Even though, moments earlier i played a UHD/DV title in Vudu.

power cycling the tv didnt help either

What's your ISP Speed? Do you have at least a dual-bonded modem? Wi-Fi or direct-connect? If Wi-Fi, 2.4GHz or 5GHz?

Does YouTube 4K work ok at off-peak hours? Near or beyond 11pm local? Overnight? Before 8am local?

I know the few times I've watched NetFlix around 9pm local, I couldn't get 4K or even 1080 (played at 720p), but later it plays the 1080 and 4K stuff just fine. Even though I have 20Mbps InterNet, I can do 4K/4K-HDR-DV NetFlix beyond 11pm local.

I'll give 4K a try on YouTube and see how it goes.

Reboot your router? I did notice this a few times the other day, but I'm on the normal firmware.

Harmony 890 Remote

Well i wanted to make sure my 80mbs down was working properly, so i tested a UHD title within VUDU and it worked. Displaying 2160p. (the secret life of pets :P) im on 5Ghz wireless ac.

Maybe it was because the youtube live stream service just started with 4k and i might have been on the bug list end of not receiving the 4k signal. (tried to watch the video game awards in 4k)

I'll have to try an uploaded video with 4k to see if it will work later today. I should have tested that out! ugh im a dummy haha

Thanks for the quick replies

Here's a good question. How do we take a 4k youtube video that's in 4k, and force it be in 1080? I've always wanted to do this, just to compare to see if I can tell the difference on that video. There must be a way???

Does anyone know what the input lag is targeted to be for HDMI 1-4 with HDR enabled when firmware 3.0.6.4 releases?

If you still can use another beta tester, I would be happy to join the ranks. Everything else I have seems to be beta, I enjoy the challenge.

Does anyone know how often the list gets updated?

New to the group, but people seemed to have been added fairly regularly. I am running out of time for returns on my Xbox... really hoping to check the HDR before I have to send it or my whole setup back for a refund.

The proper way is to just type, in plain text

so it becomes an Gold-colored active link

lol. I keep pressing "Service Check" anxiously waiting. I wondered how GOW4 looked better in 1080p on my 4k monitor/xbox one upstaris than it did on my 4k vizio xbox one s downstairs. Thought i was taking crazy pills. Very happy Vizio is putting in all this extra effort for it's customers. Thank you!

You can rest now.

I believe until there is an ongoing roll-out of a Firmware, pressing 'Service Check' does nothing since you already have the current Firmware (2274), or the by-request-only P-Series Beta Firmware (3064).

Once a roll-out is announced, it will automatically get to your TV/Display, whether that day, or a week or more.

Then, pressing 'Service Check' during a roll-out may you the Firmware slightly faster, by hours or day sooner - maybe.

I think the value of 'Service Check' is for when someone had their TV or Display off for hours/days/weeks/months at a time and misses a roll-out. Once powered-up, they can do a 'Service Check' to grab the latest Firmware.

As far as your latest request and SN post, maybe you won't get Beta 3064, since the next release is close at hand.

Ahh schucks. Thanks though for the help . Looks like GOW4 Campaign will have to wait until then.
