I have my Gaming PC connected to my Vizio 50'' D50u-D1 UHD 4K 60HZ via HDMI and i'm having a lot of Black Drop Outs all the time while using 4K 60Hz resolution ( Same problem as the XBox One and PS4 are having with all the 2016 Vizio 4K 60Hz TVs ) , it does not happens at any other resolution , only at 4K 60Hz. My hardware of my gaming PC is :
ASRock Z75-Pro 3 , 3570K cpu , Nvidia GEForce GTX 1070 , G.Skill 16GB DDR3 2200Mhz , Crucial MX300 SSD , Rosewill 1200w psu , 50'' Vizio D series 4K UHD Smart TV D50u-D1 connected via HDMI 2.0 from my graphics card GTX 1070 to the HDMI port # 5 on my D50u-D1
Software: Windows 10 Pro x64 bit , latest whql 378.49 drivers
Brand new Vizio D50u-D1 Display Screen will go black with a signal lost message coming from the display ( Black drop outs like the problem with the xbox one and PS4 , same problem ) , it will last from 3 to 5 seconds and then the signal comes back to the display back to normal. It will happen intermittent more or less every 5 minutes to 10 minutes , sometimes it will happen more frequently at intervals of 3 to 5 minutes or sooner. This will happen with normal use while browsing the web , watching youtube , just sitting at the desktop and gaming.
I read more than 30 pages on this forum because i'm a new member and i could not find a Vizio D-Series Owners Tread , hence i will post here for some help. But i did find a tread with many fixes and Beta + updated firmware for the Vizio M series and P Series TVs , here:
On that same page they do mention the same problem that i am having on my Vizio D50u-D1 , ( The team is still working on a couple of issues that are not yet in this release. This includes the Black Drop outs on HDMI sources )
. I would like to get some help please , how can i get a fix with an updated firmware for my brand new TV ? It seems all the love is for the Vizio M and P series owners , but what about the D Series owners ? We would like some love too
Here is a couple of youtube videos from the Vizio D50u-D1 problem" Black Drop Outs on HDMI Gaming PC "
