Sorry, gonna share 2 thoughts.
As far as the replacement 900F vs refund I would think it depends on what you paid for your 930E. If it were me I know the 65" 900F is $1600 right now, I know I paid $2000 for my 65" 930E(was actually $2500 but dropped 4 days later so I got a price match) so I would not be happy with the lesser and cheaper set as a replacement IMO. I would rather get my $2000 back and have my own choice of paying more for something else or saving a couple hundred and getting the 900F. If I could find one ,the 65" Z9D is $2000, the 75" 900F and 940E are $2800 all at Best Buy(I didn't even check anywhere else). I know I would rather pay $800 and get to go up in size too, or if I didn't want to spend more I could still buy the 900F myself and save money, so with other options out there right now I think getting the refund was the better option.
Fortunately though my 930E is still holding strong minus my occasional powering on issue. Which brings me to my second thought about said issue. I took video of it and will have to post here just to show what I was talking about. Was the worst case yet 2 days ago where the TV would not turn on but was definitely pulling power as the bias light would stay on indefinitely vs turning on randomly when the TV is actually off(which I know is normal behavior). This is the first time I had to unplug to get it to work again. Today it wouldn't turn on correctly and I seen the backlight flash for a second and heard the click sound the TV makes when powering on and off, but the Tv did not come on. TV was definitely still off though as I could not turn on the bias light. Luckily today the TV responded to the second power on command and all worked well. Not sure what is causing this honestly but something I am definitely keeping an eye on.
