They do not. I use www.store-3d-blurayrental.com the URL looks like a Phishing URL and it looks like the site was from the early 90's but I can confirm I have Jason Bourne and Kingsmen sitting on my desk right now.

Interesting, thanks for the info. Of course I don't even own a UHD Blu-ray player yet, but I'll keep this site in mind once I get one.

Okay, I have to ask this question as it has plagued me since getting this TV. It is not a huge deal but it bothers me. My family and I watch a lot of Hulu. And some shows on that streaming program look fine, but some are terrible. The two that come to mind are America's Got Talent and America Ninja Warrior. I don't what it is about these shows but they just look terrible on this TV via this streaming program. I don't know if OTA they look better, which may be the case. I am watching via the PS4, so that may be the problem too? Some shows from Netflix don't look good either. But then again, some look great. Breaking Bad from Netflix looks great. Brooklyn 99 from Hulu looks great too. So it just seems certain shows, so get that maybe it is how they recorded the show. ANW has a lot of fast movement and is being streamed, so I get it. Maybe the internet is messing up and not the tv. But if anyone who has this combo could watch these programs and let me know what they think is the best combo of motion, I'd appreciate it. It is driving me crazy since we watch these shows a lot. I have tried so many different combos of motion calibrations under the motion menu and nothing really seems to help. Standard and smooth help a lot with ANW, but when the people are going through the obstacles, their bodies just seem to pixelate really bad. In the end, it may have to do with my internet, but I am getting up to 47mbps on the PS4, which is as high as it will get on that device. I get 150mbps from my provider. Anyway, thanks guys (and ladies).

I let the 940e do all of my streaming via 5ghz and it looks great. have you tested between the two? Also the old "garbage in garbage out" is also something to consider

I just set my Netflix and Amazon up with the optical out to my Yamaha, looks good. I assume when you launch an app and it needs an update the tv will tell you?

I also noticed Amazon 1080p stuff worked perfectly, but during an episode of Bosch UHD HDR, it seems to skip every now and then (audio and video). Netflix HDR worked perfectly.

Watching Amazon tv shows it is dropping audio every 10 seconds or so, in spurts (optical out to yamaha 3060), pretty annoying.

Hi everyone, just wondering what are the common issues with 940E?

I have a 940D and reported this issue to Sony and they are replacing my set with the 75X940E, luckily the 940D was out of stock so they sent me the 2017 model. I wonder if this is a common issue with this set.. at least the vertical lines one. Anyone experiencing this?

Good luck with that. The TV's built-in Amazon app is the worst app I've ever experienced on a smart device. Even with all my other network devices getting over 300 Mbps down from our internet provider on Wi-Fi or Ethernet, I couldn't get anything to stream well on the Amazon app.

The same app on my Nvidia Shield immediately buffers 4K HDR and audio on Amazon without issue. The only issue is the terrible Shield remote...

I'm hoping it's not common or at least not with the 940E, thanks for your input.

Oh yeah, this thing is buggy. Just finished a show and went to play the next and it crashed. Now watching the next episode and no audio drops.

So far with Netflix and Amazon I've had no problems with drop outs or the like and its as stable as any device I've used thus far. It could very well be on Amazon's end or there deal with your cable provider

This is usually due to the source material and the quality of the digital encoding. I notice many streamed shows have more of a pale pink cast to flesh tone, but some don't.

Not the provider because I have ATT gigabit and have been streaming on a X800 for months without one issue. Its something with the app or the 940E's wifi. I have seen some devices play better with others depending on a router.

I could try connecting to the 2ghz radio instead of the 5ghz radio and see how it does.

Wouldn't hurt to try! I've been testing out 5ghz using a Netgear nighthawk, otherwise I use 2ghz.

The native Netflix app will play 4k and hdr. Your other source looks more like an upscaled 1080p

Do you have Local dimming on with those pictures? If so, then it is abnormal except for minor banding viewed from angled side.
If local dimming is off, turn them on, most banding goes away after that.

Watched 5th Element UHD tonight. Not sure why it got some so so reviews, but the UHD/HDR was great man, considering the age of the movie. Definitely the best way I have ever seen it, and it amazes me how a movie that old understands how to handle proper black levels, but we get these shat new movies with elevated blacks...

I have so far no issue with streaming. Using wired connection and have Apple Airport extreme a Comcast 105 Extreme net speed. You can't go wrong with Shields it is the best now streaming device. Since Oppo 203 is under TV I may end up with one as well.

Just bought my baby girl (32 months) region free X800 ( Iknow crazy ). She can watch and stream her shows and learning DVD's ,great player, fast ( I had Sony S6500 and had issue with wifi so I exchange it for X800 and pay different).

This is usually due to the source material and the quality of the digital encoding. I notice many streamed shows have more of a pale pink cast to flesh tone, but some don't.
Yeah, that was my suspicion. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something. It is just weird how some shows look great, while others look really terrible, like ANW. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Others on here have suggested trying other streaming devices like the TV itself, which I will do. But it may just be like you said, the show itself or the source itself, in which case there is nothing I can do to fix that.

Did you not feel that some scenes, like when they were hiding out in the cave, were washed out? Like were more grey on grey rather than having nice detail? It just seemed rather washed out to me in some scenes. Others were great but I thought that the blacks were more grey. Other UHD movies have been spot on. I know my black levels are good since the black bars are very black on my tv, but the blacks in the scenes on this movie were rather grey. Anyway, I got this movie expecting to have a great visual experience and was a little let down. Maybe I need to readdress my settings. Though like I said, it has been good on other movies...
