Is it ok to temporarily store a 55in LED tv laying flat (screen side down)?

I have an 1080p LED (glass screen) 55in tv that I replaced in my bedroom with an LG OLED 4k tv. I moved the LED to guest bedroom and laid it flat (screen side down) on top of a soft folded in half sleeping bag under the bed. I'm waiting for Goodwill to pick up my old 55in rear projection HDTV in that room (will be about 3 weeks) and then place the LED tv on the stand.

I stored an old 47in LCD tv this way for over 6 months with no issues and I'm using it now in my garage.

I have no good place to store the LED tv upright that would be safe around my pets. If storing it flat, screen side down, could be an issue, I could try moving the old rear projection tv off the stand now, but it's heavy and I have nobody who can assist me with it for at least a week. I'm debating about trying to move it myself but I'm already recovering from a back injury.

Oh it'll be fine! Make sure to walk on it too. It'll massage the pixels to maximum efficacy.

my best advice is to go ahead and put the 55" led where it's going to be permanently and take the risk of improper storage with the tv you are giving away...it's going to happen soon anyway , you might as well take the risk factor out of the storage equation..
