Are you sure? The Costco description states:

4 Years Total Protection for your TV purchased at any other authorized US retailer
The first year of warranty is covered by the manufacturer. The 2nd through the 4th years are covered by SquareTrade.

Wow. You're right. It used to not say that. At least it wasn't a few years back when I was searching around for my last tv. They must have changed it.

My guess is yes. TCL seems to be a rising star in the industry.

Looks like an increase in contrast control zones but only 55 and 65 inch models for the TCL with FALD. Time will tell what they actually ship.

Think I may return my vizio M for that 6 series. I had the P series before this Vizio and the DSE bothered me a little bit, but after having it with the Vizio I think I just need to come to terms with it.

I have it with my TCL C series but I cannot see it once content is playing. Only notice it on “black” scenes before content plays or when launching apps. I tried looking for it on sports but all the football fields are natural grass so it’s uneven greens anyway.

I think I am just ultra sensitive to it. Panning shots during football games and stuff are really noticeable. With that said its really noticeable on my Vizio M as well, maybe I got a lemon. Either way its going back and im waiting til April for either this or a price drop on something else.

That's odd.

Pricing is a feature for TCL products.

They better not believe they can charge anywhere near what Sony or Samsung charges.

No official dollar amount, but they did state that the 55" 2018 6 series would be comparable in price to the 55" 2017 P series and people are rumoring that the 65" will come in at sub $1000.

Would anyone mind measuring their TCL 55" P Series? I've seen measurements on Amazon and Best Buy as 49" wide. The alcove in my family room is a hair above 49" and I'm concerned it won't fit.

This TV is currently at the top of my list and I'm hoping it'll work out.

Thanks.

Thanks afrogt and Peja. I measured again and I've got 49 and 2/16. It's close and will probably scrape a bit. I'll try to make sure I've got all the cabling figured out beforehand.
