I just ordered a switch on Amazon so we shall see how that goes. I was just curious if there was some setting option on the Xbox itself that would make a difference for UHD disc playback but it sounds like there is not.

I think that for the Xbox HDMI connection it will only allow you to use 4k if you have 60hz. It will switch to 24hz but you need to make the initial connection at 60hz. The Nvidia shield does the same thing.

Do you use Atmos/Bitstream from your Xbox?
