this ces this been particularly depressing when it comes to newer "normal street price" 4K 80"+ TVs with good black levels. The only one I have been able to find is the sony 85" X95G - and that too may not end up having great black levels.

Polk LSiM 705 towers, 706 center, RC80i surrounds, Denon X4400H, Emotiva XPA-100 monoblocks, Dual 2019 JTR-118HTs (Color -Mini Cooper Spice Orange metallic), LG 77" C8 OLED, Panny 65" Plasma.

I had one of their 2018 sets. The processor was complete garbage, it couldn't play 4k content for more than an hour before shutting off, requiring unplugging to turn back on. Support was a joke and their reviews were fake 5 star everywhere...

They have lost my confidence.

Hisense U9F info?

Hey all,
After waiting for the reviews on the 75" Vizio Quantum X, I decided it isn't worth upgrading to from my Sony x940e. However, some more digging around and I saw the CES specs for the Hisense U9F. It looks like a promising TV if reviews validate CES claims. However, all I can find is that it has been released, yet a Google search shows no sites listing it for sale and I can't find any reviews. Anyone have info on this TV?

Thanks!

Last thing I saw on this was an article in May that said:

Quote:
"And in the latter part of Q3, he said the company’s 75-inch premium ULED set, U9F, will debut at $3,499, offering 2,000 nits peak brightness, 1,056 zones of local dimming and bringing to the market its most powerful chip set yet: the Hi-View Pro 3."
