If one wishes to use the 5v 1 amp USB port to power a fan or light, it would be helpful to know if the port is "always on" or powered with the TV. Can you advise, please?

This looks like netflix Sabrina second "season". These scenes do not have the very dark appearance that my older non-HDR set shows. Does this program look good in the many interior shots that are so dark in my TV there is no detail at all?

for my 82Q90R I had to use 4 extensions so this was a total of $180. Not sure how you calculate $250 for up to two extensions. Do you already own a Hue Bridge?

The luminoodle is great. One of my friends has it on their 75". They can't be turned on and off at will though.
The Hue light strips are not fragile and give a MUCH more even light behind the TV, they are more affordable too.

Would love to share a short video about my Q90R but can't find a hosting for it.

I'm glad your experience is positive, but mine is not. I had two and each one had a bad solder point on an LED that would cause a section to go out intermittently. And though the light output is greater as a whole, once you have to cut strips to make them fit somewhere you reduce the light output. The Light bars are just less fuss and reliable.

I suppose there is no need to cut to fit on these TVs though. Plenty of space.

Sorry to hear this, I have 44 Hue lights including 8 light strips and even outside I have Hue lights and not experienced what you are describing. A few pages back I posted a picture from the back of the TV showing the light-strip on (4 extensions)

Helpful. Kind of a lightweight review. Strongly positive and his diminished support of the OneConnect Box is odd to me.

Were you able to tell the Panel type from just the box? I still have mine in the box and will open on Sunday...

Bestbuy.com
Hue Light Strip $79.99
Hue Light Strip Extension $24.99 (3x)
Hue Bridge $59.99

Total = 214.95 + Tax = $232 or so.

I'm going with a much cheaper option. I will eventually upgrade to Hue.

I have the Hue light strip on my Q9FN and Q90R - both 65". I used 1primary strip and 2 extensions, no cutting necessary. Lights up wonderfully.

The reviewer mentioned that you are able to get 4K @ 120 frames per second. When I play games from my PC I am only able to get either [email protected] FPS or [email protected] Is anyone one here able to play games at 4K at 120FPS?

Where are the user reports of blooming if you don't mind me asking? I'm only talking about the q90r, I can't speak for other models. I'm trying to explain to you here that this blooming issue only applies to a particular app in one particular mode.

Shopping List:
TV: Samsung Q90R, or LG C9, or Sony ...
Blu-ray: Panasonic UB820, or Sony X800M, or Pioneer Elite LX500
Soundbar: Samsung Q90R, or Sennheiser Ambeo, or...

Yes, if you still need the bridge its about $60 more but you can control up to 50 lights on one bridge.

Here is the demo of my 82Q90R. Picture and sound of course are much better in the live setting but this gives still a pretty good impression about this awesome TV-Set. TV is set to Natural/Native with local dimming to standard.
