Are 2000s hdtvs RGB limited or full?

I have this Samsung hdtv antiquity from the late 2000s (LNS2651D):

https://www.google.com/search?q=LNS2...iw=871&bih=843

Damn thing doesn't have "fit to screen" but hey, for gaming and tv, it does the job.

I was wondering if its RGB was full or limited? I recently set the PS4 and my new 4K tv on "limited" and "hdmi low" respectively to maximize the gaming visuals.

I want to have the same optimal graphics on my old tv and despite my superior internet search skills, I couldn't find any info for it. Although there was a blurb saying old hdtvs are on "RGB Full" but it could've been fake electronic news.

At worst, I'll leave the console on "automatic RGB (recommended)".

Please help, thx!

If you have both the TV and PS4 on Automatic, it will use what's needed.

Sony XBR-65Z9D / Oppo UDP-203 / Marantz SR7011 / Def Tech 9060 Series

If the tv's so old to not have RGB options, I guess I have no choice but to leave the PS4 on "automatic".
