Kim Kardashian's 130-inch TV

Anyone know what TV that is?

It's definitely some kind of flat panel TV and not a projector since the display follows the screen as it moves up.

looks to be some sort of projection or something low quality. it's not very saturated and the contrast is pretty weak too. here's a screen shot where the grayness really jumped out to indicate its not an advanced technology.

Probably some type of commercial display not something you would see at BestBuy Magnolia.

Don't think it's a projector since the picture moves up with the screen. And you can see even the parts of the screen below the floor line are fully lit as it moves up.

This is a Vizio Reference Series 120" (RS120-B3). You can tell when the input info screen comes up as seen in the image below. All 2015 Vizio models used the exact same UI. I also helped install one of these. The image quality is not the best. I am not sure what panel is being used in the 120" version, but the 65" version has a much higher image quality. Color and contrast are indeed low on the 120" model. I also included an image of a 2015 E series showing the exact same info bar. Kim's tv is connected with an ethernet cable and so that is why the icon looks different. When connected via Wi-Fi a signal strength indicator is in that square. Hope this helps.

Ah, excellent info thanks! I remember not being able to find much info on this TV aside from the launch announcements. Was wondering if they actually went on sale. Not that I'd be able to afford once as I recall it was low 6-figures.

Yes and I have seen it go for much higher than MSRP. If you were interested in purchasing one you would need to find a dealer that could locate stock. Not many were made, and the ones that were did not sell.

So Is she Exposed can we call her out on this she is bragging about her 130” TV WHEN ITS REALLY ONLY 120” sounds like something a person like her would do just add more to it Incase some else has a 120” version. Lol

Also I love how ultra rich are sold on mediocre technology she and Kanye probably swear it’s the best TV ever.

4K probably no HDR stretched out to 120” must look bad.

It doesn't. 4K is plenty of resolution at 120". You'd have to get up to about 3 feet before 4K starts looking stretched out. HDR doesn't change the fact that its still 4K. Of course 720p or something played at that res wont look good.

They own several TVs and have a private screening room..probably also have several houses..with more TVs and screening rooms in it.

Actually from my experience in the business, the "ultra rich" are the least educated buyers. As long as it is expensive and seems exclusive it will be worth it most of the time (this Vizio checks those boxes). Someone with a tight budget is more inclined to ask questions and do research. I am sure the dealer who sold Kim that Vizio made a fantastic profit, maybe even more than the MSRP of the television.

Absolutely I can just see the contractor or subcontractor now. He probably had to kickback a few thousand bucks to his General contractor. Whoever pitched them the idea. Saying the biggest TV is 75” or 82”. Kim your TV is 120” inches and rises up from the floor. No one has that it doesn’t exists she’s told.

Lol no need to hate (and I'm no fan of the Kardashians).

This is her bedroom TV and her head would be at least 15 feet from the screen. 4K is fine.

And it may not be the BEST picture quality but the Vizio Reference series probably isn't terrible either (even if the PQ falls short of smaller sizes in the range). I'd love to have such a huge TV in my bedroom.

So true.

When I was in college, I was working in a video store, and when people would complain that the tape they rented "jumped", I'd ask if they adjusted the tracking control. Invariably, there was someone who would say "MY VCR IS TOP OF THE LINE! It's HQ! I paid $2000 for it!". It's the BEST, I don't HAVE to do that". Uh huh.
