Something I want to know as well... I'm actually waiting for some reviews on this TV to know if it's worth buying, if not I'm going with a Sony TV most likely.

on paper it’s going after the Vizio P series which has 200 local dimming (vs 132) and 1000 nits, but $1,399 MSRP (vs $999). Price wise it looks to be a winner if it can just be 90% of the Vizio image quality across the board.

It's going to be little lower end of the Vizio PQ series since this model going to have quantum dots just like the Vizio PQ series. If anything, the Hisense H8F is more comparable with Vizio P.

Not 100% sure but I think Hisense will release the H9F later on this month, if not June, then hopefully sometime in July at least.

My current mancave room setup:
Vizio V436-G1 4K HDR TV | LG UBK90 4K Blu-ray player | Denon AVR-S740H AV Receiver (running 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos and DTS:X) | Xbox One X | Roku Ultra (2018 model)

Hisense says $999 but Best Buy had listed the 65 for $799 and the 55 for $599 before they took them down.

The price for H9F for 55" is $699 and the 65" I believe is $799 or $899. But the 55 I know is $699. Will see. Also I cant believe the TCL 6 series for the 65" is going for $800 and even lower. Now that's a steal. I have the Samsung NU8000 it's a great tv no doubt but I want something better. I am 2 days past return to Amazon but what people dont know Is if you start your return before the 30 days. You can still return and get a better tv say 60 days later. I have done it many of times.

Hisense H9F Release Date?

Anyone know how these will stack up against the Vizio 65” M/P Quantum Series (2019) and the 65” LG Nano 8 Series (2019)?

I'm kinda surprised that Hisense's USA website doesn't even have a product listing or page for the H9F yet...not even a "coming soon."

The H9F sounds feature-packed, but I guess my biggest concern on these lower-priced sets (like TCL and Hisense) is panel uniformity (specifically DSE and/or any kind of banding). Followed by motion handling and upscaling...

All company's even samsung/sony high end models have panel uniformity... it just the way how things are made nowadays cheap and quick BUT yes, my main concern is the motion and upscaling on this TV. One reason why I'm waiting on reviews on it.

I agree its rediculous that Hisense doesn't have a coming soon page with specs and they announced the H9F is coming out thismonth. I actually posted on thier twitter page asking for a release date and no response. I told them they just lost a customer like they really care anyway lol

Yeah I know Hisense don't make particularly great TV's they are mostly budget tv's.Tom's Guide did a review on the H9F he is said it looked excellent but I dont put to much stock in reviews or Tom's reviews. I just want to see how it gets reviewed by more reviewer's. I agree it's more compatible to the likes of Vizio P and TCL 6 series. That's who I think Hisense is targeting the TCL buyers. The 55 for the H9F is priced at $699. Not bad if it can do all the stuff that it says. 😀

I know. I’m trying to decide if I should jump on the 55” LG C8 OLED or wait for the Hisense 65” H9F, TCL 65” 8 Series, or the reviews for the new 65” Vizio M8/P Quantum Series.

The C8 is really tempting but I game a lot on my Xbox One X and just found out there is a image burn in risk and it is 5” smaller than my current tv. These are the two things holding me back.

How does that Amazon return work? I've started returns, and it give me a return date within 30 days.

I saw that page and was about to order the 65" for $799 on-line, but for some unknown reason it disappeared a few hours later. Nothing on the BB website, besides the H8F.

I’ve been really looking for the Hisense H9F and even considered emailing Hisense on where their H9F product is. Was supposed to be in June. But from my friend who is the TV area manager at Best Buy, the H9F had arrived but they were sent back RTV return to vendor. He doesn’t think BestBuy will carry it. There are no delivery dates and no stores have them on order period. The do sell the H8F and have a splash page for the H9F but it’s non-functional. And using the SKU number gives all the data that the TV won’t be carried.

Word is Trump’s newest Tariffs on Chinese’s goods hit Hisense. Even the H8F on Amazon went up from $399 to $499

Our only hope at least mine is Amazon.com for the H9F. I’m gonna wait till August if the Hisense H9F misses the July 4th Mega Tv sales every retailer has, it’s likely Not gonna release this year, and will get shelved or sold in other countries.

Also prices should be $699 for 55” H9F I wouldn’t pay $1 over that.

It'd be pretty crazy for Hisense to cancel a product that was so heavily featured as a flagship in their marketing as recently as a few weeks ago. Major problems with QC? Distribution problem with Best Buy? (i.e. "We don't want this budget TV stealing sales away from much more expensive brands"?

Um the is a video from Digital Trends on YouTube, an unboxing and setup of the H8F and Caleb said you cannot get the H9F in the US. He said this is the highest Hisense model you can get in the US. So I guess that rules out the H9F and that sucks. What that is due to I have no idea but that seems to be the deal.

Could be this batch got caught out by the tariff while on the water. Hisense may just send them back and send more at a cheaper wholesale price to compensate.

I just called(phone) and chatted(online) with Best Buy agents. The phone agent told me that it is coming out this month but didn't want to released the release date of TV but when I talk to the agent online at the Best Buy website, he told me the release date will be 06/23/2019 for both 55 inch and 65 inch models.

I thought it was either the Cargo ship from China was caught at sea and told not to offload like 100,000 units due to new Tariff OR, that BestBuy Quality checks 2 TVs at Random out of a Shipment and if they have Problems Best Buy Can Cancel or refuse the shipment at the port so that both parties can avoid a lot of taxes and fees.
I’ll stick by my plan if it misses the 4th of July MEGA TV sales then it wont release. I just played video games on a Samsung Q8FN and the Hisense H9F Spec For Spec is better. With 132 dimming Zones vs just 40 dimming zones on the Samsung Q8FN.

6/23 is a Sunday, I dont see this happening. If anything I hope it does. And if so it should be in the stores by Saturday. But knowing how stores are these days they probably wont be able to sell it.
