Amazon FireTV issue

I bought this...
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just needed something basic that would get Netflix for an exercise room. I arc it to a Yamaha receiver to get 7.1 sound.

Everything works fine, except for one thing. When I watch Netflix, there's a volume bar at the top of the TV that constantly appears and disappears. My guess is Netflix makes minor changes to the volume level every few seconds and the TV picks this up and shows the volume bar. In my case, the volume bar always shows 52.

Probably endemic to all fire TVs.

I've looked through the menus and found nothing. Any suggestions?

Get a Roku. I have a firestick 4K and compared to my Roku Ultra it's awful. I hate the interface and it's very slow. Next time Roku has a sale it's getting replaced.

Klipsch RF-62II, RC-500, RS-400, SVS PC12+,
Def Tech SC8000
Onkyo RZ820
Roku Ultra, Apple TV, Sharp 70" Quattron

Does it only happen when you use the Yamaha? Not familiar with them, but might be something there about volume display always on. Unhook the Yammy and try the tv by itself.

It took some effort to get arc working, so I'm hesitant to do anything that might break it.

Performance is fine. It's just annoying to have a sound bar pop on and off every few seconds.

I know I can stream through another device. I used to use a PS3 until the remote stopped working. I bought the TV because I could upgrade the TV and use the TV for streaming for only $179.
