Why does samsung.com only have old firmware?

For a UN40EH5000F, samsung.com only offers version 1 firmware, from 2012:

Why?

This page has version 1024.0, from 2014. That's just from a google search. There may be newer.

This is a 2012 non-smart TV that my parents own, so update would be through USB. They're current using it on SD cable and the picture is horrific (worse than antenna SD). I noticed 1024 said it improved picture, so thought it would be worth trying, but was scared to since it's not offered by Samsung.

Softpedia is a legitimate, well known site. You could have easily confirmed this for yourself with some google searching.

Wow. I know what it is. They host files. They aren't their files. Maybe you don't know some (maybe all) of the most popular software hosting sites have hosted files with viruses, including CNET.

Sure, but what's the chance Softpedia picked up a virus-loaded TV firmware back in 2014? If you're going to end up with malware, it will be on Windows software. If you still think it's too risky, webchat with Samsung and they will probably email you the firmware.
