65" Samsung RU800 vs 65" TCL 6 Series

Which is a better buy in terms of viewing angle, watching sports and watching in a not bright and dark room.

65" Samsung RU800 - $1080

or

65" TCL 6 Series - $729.99

This one is a trade-off between your priorities.
They're going to be similar in terms of viewing angles, but that's about it. For sports, the Samsung is going to look better, with less DSE, faster pixel response time, and a 120 Hz refresh with motion interpolation if you're into the SOE.
Movies are going to look better on the TCL, and HDR movies very much so. The TCL is massively brighter, has a much wider color gamut, and will have better black levels thanks to local dimming.

Those are my thoughts.

If you're into sports, the RU8000 is the better TV. Here's the RU8000 owners thread.
