Thanks guber-- now I'm scared I'm going to sell out in one DAY. Boy, talk about a turnaround of fears! Maybe I'll be able to do a second order of units after all. Good news is, with everything DONE and proven, turnaround time on a new build should be about 6-8 weeks..

Thanks everyone for the kind words; Now I just have to meet everyone's expectations!

cheers,

Just ordered!

Audiodane:

Just ordered mine for my TCP54G10 2009 model! Been anxiously waiting to hit that buy button and felt good to do so. Thank for all your efforts, looking forwarding to installing it

In case anyone was wondering how to summarize audiodane's efforts in a short sentence, here it goes....

Audiodane is awesome, the end!

Thanks

GT series

audiodane,

Do you think your PMCv1 (2010 version) will work with my GT25 series TV (TC-P42GT25)? I rarely see the GT25 series mentioned in these forums, only the G25 series. The only difference I can find between the two series is the GT series has 3-D and fast-switching phosphors. I looked at the TV service port on the back of my TV and it is the GHR11 connector.

Thanks!

My advice to everyone is to reset at night/in darkness so you can be sure it worked.

And take a before and after picture to share!

This should be interesting. Just ordered for my TC-50V10, but I'm not sure that I will be able to tell the difference. By this I mean that I really love the pic on my TV and I'm happy with the blacks (although I'm quite sure they have been degraded over the years), I'm hoping to see a difference. So, let me ask this: Will the change make my watching sports in Custom mode "punchier?" Although my set was professionally calibrated, when watching sports, in order to please my eye and that of my friends (get some punch,) I have to use the Game mode...Custom mode, although great, is just a little too dark.

You will notice the difference (if no place else) when you are watching a 2.35:1 movie with letterbox bars on the top and bottom of the screen. They will be much blacker.

Watch something like Avatar, Tron Legacy, or The Dark Knight. All of those movies have extensive scenes with black backgrounds. The closer to a true black you can get the more all of your other colors seem to pop out at you.

No, sports are generally well lit.

What he said ^

Since there is limited supply maybe you should let someone else have it and wait for the second batch and user reports to be posted.

Will do and with measurements.

Just purchased one for my TCP50VT20 and I will report back with my findings. I noticed it says hopeful but I'm willing to try it for 60 bucks. I also own a spectracal c6 and calman 5 so I can report back with some data.

I'll be ordering as soon as I can get back to my TVs to verify connectors.

Assuming they are the same connector, I presume I can use one unit to reset both?

In the manual it says to buy one for each TV and explains why.

Count on me for a purchase on the second run ..... I 100% trust it but would like to see some before and after shots, u tube video etc first.
