Storing plasmas in the garage

I've been snapping up the good plasmas in my area and I have a 141FD in the house and a 6010FD and VT60 stored in the garage. What would be the best way to keep them nice in storage? They're both upright on their stand and I was thinking of wrapping them loosely in some thick plastic sheeting tied off at the top and putting a few desiccant packets inside.

It’s probably fine if not overkill, I’ve actually been using a Samsung plasma as my garage tv for several years I’d mostly just want to keep the dust off and protect the screen.

Man, thanx for your post.. This dry storage stuff is exactly what I need..

I was lucky and got some tv packaging coating from another tv that I use.. But I have no clue where to get those..

Maybe ask a retail store if they have something left in storage..

It turns out the mattress bags I linked to above don't have any way to close them so I got these instead (size Twin) and they're perfect for a 60" or a 65" plasma:

65" VT60
60" 6010FD
60" 141FD

The 141FD is my nightly screen. One thing about it is the whites seem too bright but if I try to dial them down with brightness or contrast that seems to suck the life/magic out of everything.

#2 ) Panasonic and Marketing. Panasonic has a hard time getting out of its own way. How else can you describe having the best picture technology with very reasonable prices and not being able to out sell your rivals who have inferior products. It all comes down to marketing. Samsung and LG do a much better job of hyping and marketing and are willing to take some “unorthodox” and possibly unethical marketing angles when they deem it necessary to get the upper hand.

The reason Plasma has failed is much the same as the the many BS reasons forum users give in defense of a particular product. Want to sell product............. be unethical, and unorthodox. Now we can pay more for 4000k tv , with less quality.

A Good amplifier requires a adequate power supply, It does not matter what the amplifier is capable of if the power supply will not provide the power required. Most amplifiers have under rated power supplies. It is up to you to make sure you get the ones that are least under rated if at all.
