Still loving my Panny VT-20; curious: what has better blacks-my VT20 or Sony 900F LCD

Just curious, as a comparison, I "get" that OLED is rendering even better blacks than my 10+ year old Panasonic VT20, but would blacks compare on my VT20 to say a 4K SONY 900-F LCD models?

I'm not sure about the VT20, but Panasonic 2011+ plasma black level should be better than any LCD TV's. Including the 900-F. Add in the fact that there's no local dimming variance to worry about and yes, black performance on the nicer plasmas still beat even the latest LCDs. The only thing they lose out to are, obviously, OLEDs.
