64 inch samsung red light flashing, wont turn on (pics of boards)

2013 f 5500 purchase for 1600 and id be very disappointed if it didnt last at least as long as my 20 year old crt

for the past month the tv has been rebooting at irregular intervals.

last night soon after turning it on. it turned off. red light blinked 2x, stopped. rinse and repeat

unplugging and plugging in got it to work then same thing happened.

unplugged about a minute and then it worked the rest of the night OK.

these are just some of the pics i have. i couldnt see anything bulging or leaking and to me things looked ok but im no pro

so i dont know what to do. even if i could find new boards on ebay that sounds risky cause there are no guarantees those even work and as far as individual components on the boards that seems tricky at best

getting this tv moved and apart wasnt much fun either. i hate to blow 2200 on oled that may not be as good a pic as the plasma though.sigh

edit. i was able to find the power supply and y board for about 55 each from tvpartstoday. x board is 37 and main board 52

i decided theres no way i'm soldering individual components. thats just not me.. so which of those boards would i try first. it really is a pain taking this down and apart so i wouldnt mind even trying 2 at a time. also i took a look and it looks like just unscrewing screws and taking off ribbon cables to replace all these boards. is that your experience

theres only one local appliance place i trust around here and they dont do tv repairs anymore so i'm on my own here. but i am curious. can they test the boards to see whats wrong or just guess like i'm doing?

I have the Samsung PN64H5000 and this Spring it started exhibiting the same symptoms as yours. From what I was able to research, it was a power supply board with a bad capacitor.

There are services on eBay to send your power supply board and they will repair it, test it and return it to you. The particular place I used will return the board and refund you if they can't fix it. It cost me $63 and repair turnaround was a day, but, it worked and I've been using it for about 6 months with no issues. The seller I used was asa.vd.pc and I believe they were in California.

i forgot to update this thread. i bought a power supply and Y board and didnt fix it

i didnt wanna spend money for the X and main boards as well, so threw in the towel and ordered an A8G

thing is, i have no clue what is wrong and if replacing all 4 boards guaranteed it, id do it. but i dont know if that can be assured. so i put the money in the new tv
