There's a big thread here on AVS about this model with lots of discussion about it:

https://www.avsforum.com/forum/167-p...0-plasmas.html

LG Plasmas are known for not having very good contrast or black levels (the worst among all the other brands of Plasma). LG TVs have decent build quality and a lot of features for the low price, but they were the most inexpensive brand and were generally the last choice of brand when Plasmas were still being made.

Some LG Plasmas did not have any sort of anti-reflective screen and are very reflective (like a dark mirror). Dunno if this model does or not.

Are you looking at a used one on Craigslist or sumthin? I wouldn't pay more than $100 if you need a cheap 60" TV.

Is it free. But I have a Panasonic 60ST30 and was wondering if I should acquire the LG as a back up. Or are these tvs out of date compared to newer technology like OLED and QLED? Which I can wait to buy if they surpass plasma technology.By the way I recognize your name from reading this board a lot from 8 years ago when I first was in the market for a plasma.
