No signal with Denon x3000 and Monoprice active hdmi combination
I've been struggling with this for some time and decided to ask the question here in case I'm overlooking something obvious:
I have a setup with AVR-X3000 connected to (old) Samsung TV and successfully playing 1080p content. Recently I renovated the basement, had to move my equipment room little further and ended up replacing the old hdmi cable. The original length was 25 or 30ft, and now I have two cables 35ft and 40ft, both the same "Monoprice HOSS Active High Speed HDMI Cable - 4K @ 60Hz, HDR, 18Gbps, 24AWG, YUV 4:4:4" type.
So now I cannot get the signal through. If I connect new roku ultra, second gen apple tv, super old Sony home theater receiver, all work just fine and don't seem to have any reliability issues, as long as I'm in front of the tv I don't remember seeing any interruptions. But I cannot make Denon work, it doesn't display the status screen or anything coming from any source. I only have 1080 sources, no 4k or better...
Is there a hope that I'm missing some setting or trick to make Denon work or there is a problem with the signal strength of this specific model and I'll have to try another receiver?
