I thought the BDP-S590 uses HDMI 1.4? Maybe their HDMI implementation is not the best. The blu-ray is on the most recent firmware, which was several years ago.


In any case, I will try Vizio again, but I don't have high hopes, the only device that does not work is the Sony Blu-ray, and they can rightfully point the finger at the device as the cause. I could call Sony, but I expect them to tell me that I can't expect a device that's several years old to work.


I will let everyone know if I come up with anything.
