I assume you can’t run everything through a proper A/V receiver?

I have noticed that when I use the audio extractor my TV don't give me the anoying message every time "this audio format is not supported by your TV" which stays on screen about 10sec.

I now own an Onkyo amplifier with HDMI support but I have to repair it first, mabe I don't have the need anymore for these HDMI Audio Extrator !?

But I still like to now if there are any whitch support CEC-Passthrough.

Where is the Audio Extractor being placed in your system?

Does it have to support ARC or eARC?

I've used this one, and been able to get CEC pass through. It has only one rating on Amazon (1-star). I went through several brands of extractors to find one that did what I needed. I find that the Amazon reviews for these things are not the best gauge, as a lot of the reviewers don't know what they want to buy.
