Unlike the Yamaha's A-S801's variable loudness control (versus a typical fixed setting), the Parasound P5 and P6 preamps do not have any loudness control.
Note that it is possible to use the Yamaha's remote to engage and disengage a pre-selected
loudness setting by utilizing the Pure Direct button.
