got this one from ebay . one owner from new, totally standard condition

I'm a big proponent of the floating sub-chassis design turntables such as my AR XA and your Thorens. The isolation from the external world's vibrations [including motor rumble, room rumble, and low level acoustic feedback distortion] is fantastic and the musical improvement it offers is profound. It is no wonder many people take these designs, some decades old, and restore them back to life.

I hear this bloke (I link to) is well-to-do and actually works in the music industry. It's interesting to see what he chooses to listen to when evaluating his own work, as for example this song I'm told is rather well known.
