Which of this ones?

Hi, im looking for a stereo amplifier that have ht by pass (main in). I dont have a huge budget so the models im looking are this:

Onkyo 9150 (new)
Yamaha rs 700 (used)
Marantz pm 7004 (used)

Nearly at same price. Also saw the yamaha as1000 but its expensive to me (double the price of this ones)

I have a marantz 5012 for multi channel with one of this i will have an improvement on stereo? Also i have a jamo c93 as fronts. Or may be i will notice a better improvement with an bookshelfs upgrade?

Thanks for the info. So the onkyo dont have much power and the yamaha dont like you the sound. You think that i will have better sound upgrading like this or upgrading the front bookshelfs? Now i have a jamo c93.

I never said I didn't like the Yamaha, it is a fine amp for the money. It is simply not a clear as the Onkyo, but the Onkyo is itself lacking in other ways. In fact I have the older Yamaha RX-797 Stereo Receiver, which is the equivalent of the newer RS700.

From the Information I can gather, the Marantz ST5012 7.2 Channel AV Receiver has about 100w/ch. A quick search of the Internet puts that amp at about US$1000. So, not exactly cheap amp. (not sure of the UK/EU prices)

https://www.us.marantz.com/us/produc...oductId=SR5012

I found the newest Marantz SR5013 selling for US$1000, and for UK£750. I bring up the cost to indicate that this is a pretty decent amp as AV Receivers go; well above average.

So, my question is, how is this not getting the job done in a way that leads you to want to add another amp to the system?

I don't believe you have specifically said how much MONEY you have for this upgrade. The Jamo C-93 are about £300 to £400/pr Bookshelf speakers (6" bass driver, [email protected]). To really understand what you have we would need to know all your speakers including the Subwoofer. The Dimensions of the Room would also be helpful.

So, let's get back to what you are trying to Improve and how much MONEY you have to spend.

Also, were are you located? US, EU, UK, other?

My others speakers are klipsch rc62II, focal sib evo and klipsch r10sw (subwoofer) and the jamo c93 as fronts. You can see its a mixed of brands
I really dont have a budget defined. Im from Argentina so the speakers availables on the market are limited. My room its about 12 ft x 12ft
I want a better stereo sound, also make a downgrade on multichannel to make stereo a priority on my system.

I use Spotify from the marantz and now i have my phone lg g7 to use plug it to aux on the marantz and play tidal master

So -

Klipsch RC62-II = Center
Focal SIB EVO = Surrounds
Jamo C-93 = Fronts
Klipsch R10SW = Subwoofer

Marantz SR5012 = AV Receiver

So, do you want to supplement the existing system, or are you getting rid of Surround Sound and moving completely to Stereo?

If you are planning to go to Stereo and need Network Streaming, then consider these Yamaha Amp -

Yamaha RN602 Network Receiver, 80w/ch, DAC, Network Streaming -

https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audi...602/index.html

Yamaha RN803 Network Receiver, 100w/ch, DAC, Network Streaming, Room EQ, Full Bass Management -

https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audi...803/index.html
Both of the above have built in TIDAL Streaming.

Denon has just introduced a similar amp DRA-800H 100w/ch, Network Streaming, DAC, HDMI, etc... -

https://www.avforums.com/news/denon-...receiver.16244

https://usa.denon.com/us/product/hom...eivers/dra800h

The room is relatively small so I would be reluctant to recommend Floorstanding speakers, though some could work. I suggest you take a look at the 8" Monitor Audio Silver 100 or the previous 8" Monitor Audio Silver 2.

No, i want a basic multichannel system and a better stereo system. Or just add a integrated amplier with ht bypass to my actual system.

So a basic center channel, surround and subwoofer and av receiver. And a integrated amplifier can handle mqa for tidal and a better front speaker than jamo c93.

The price for the monitor Audio Silver 2 on my country are ok to my budget. In which genres of music are better this monitor?

So if i want to add an integrated amplifier i can choose from this:

onkyo 9150 (new)
pionner a30 (new)
yamaha rs700 (used)

And if i go to the other option (downgrade multichannel and better stereo) the possibilities are much more
