EPS-24CS stylus

Hello,

I recently got a Technics SL-BD20 for free. Mechanically it looks OK, but the stylus is shot. Has anyone bought any Durpower styli from Amazon Canada? Their EPS-24CS looks identical to the one from LPGear, etc., but I guess there's no way to be sure. Just wondering if it's a complete waste of money, or if it will drill holes through my records.

Note: I'm not crazy about vinyl, don't have any new or precious records, just want a fair entry-level TT. I may buy a better one at some point, but if this SL-BD20 can get me going for an year or two, I'll be happy.

Thanks,

VMat

The EPS-24CS is only $15.88 On Amazon. For the SL-Bd-20 TT I wouldn't bother w/a more expensive cart. But at least a new cart won't damage your records. If you start to enjoy your TT plenty of excellent entry level TT's starting w/U-Turn audio to Rega and Pro-Ject offerings.

Do you have that Amazon link? I see a few, all from the same vendor, but different prices - a bit sketchy. I'm in Canada and would rather buy from amazon.ca, but if I can't find what I need I may default to .com.

Thank you!

I guess you're seeing the price in USD, for me it shows in CAD ($28). I'll give it a shot, anyway.

Thanks a lot!
