help choosing dac in the 300 dollar range

I was thinking of getting the
Aune x8

I want to upgrade from the dac in my hegel h300 which is the 32-bit AKM4399 chipset. Any suggestions or is the aune x8 the best choice?

I don't know about the swing, but Burson makes good stuff. I have one of their headphone amps.

Supercharged Song Towers, Oppo BDP-203, Anthem MRX-520, LG B6 OLED
Headphone Rig: Oppo BDP-95, Burson Audio Soloist MKII Headphone amp/ Sennheiser HD800S, Sennheiser HD650

I like the idea of the swing after reading about it on the Burson site. Sabre DAC 9038. Good power headphone amp.

Well the dx7s is better in imaging than the khadas tone board but less bass responsive so its going back. I think im going to stay away from topping now because it doesnt seem they can make a balanced sounding dac.
