By pressing the button to turn it on, it remained in standby without doing anything.
These are the operations I performed:
Checked the voltages on CN301:
+ 14V present
-5V Not present
+ 5V Not present.
For testing I disconnected the CN301 connector to understand if the problem was in the power supply or motherboard.
By pressing the standby button I found a voltage of + 1.2V on the + 5V while the correct voltage of -5V on the -5V.
Replaced C211 and C212 (100uF / 16V). It did not bring any results
Replace C220 (470uF / 16V). The player has turned on.
This capacitor works together with resistance R233 on the basis of transistor Q201 (+ 5V).
The -5V has returned to function properly. As shown in the diagram, the -5V is linked to the + 5V operation.
Laserdisc turns on, but does not move the tray.
I don't know why the + 14V voltage is gone. Blown fuse found.
IC211 fuse replaced (+ 14V).
I hope it can help. Good luck.
I'm sorry for the english.
