I wish Netflix would fix the My List page, it's been broken for at least a month now. Used to be able to reorder the titles but not anymore.

I just tried on my system (latest Firefox), and I could reorder the list fine. It does redraw the screen each time, unlike the disc list, which is more fluid.

Strange, I just tried a FF window with all extensions disabled and it still doesn't move them. As I drag a title to the top and let go I see it placed there at the top of the list but when the page refreshes it's back in its original spot down where I moved it from.

When I contacted Netflix about the problem they said they're aware of the problem, but this was nearly 3 weeks ago, maybe longer.

I wonder what's different about your setup from mine?

My Netflix is playing everything in DV and the 4k is at 1080P. Is the 1080P because I'm being cut back on mbps because of the crisis?

Netflix is only cutting bitrate, not resolution and only in Europe so far. Look at your local network or ISP.

I'm getting plenty of mbps off my router. So, unless my Firestick 4K has a separate setting for the three aforementioned streamers they must be throttling.

Good point, hadn't thought to look at the router. Went to check my work server downloads and throughput is the same. Must be the dreaded throttle.

With the talk of throttling, what are your settings for quality? On the web site, under your account, there is a "Playback Settings" page. Is your Data Usage set to Auto, or have you tried setting it to High?

For years mine has been set to high. Just looked and verified it. I have two other rooms where I could check output. One is a LG oiled. Is ther a way to check input Rez on its internal apps?

Took this test on my laptop via WiFi around 10pm which is when I experience the most traffic and found no issues with Netflix throttling on my Roku Plus.

Then it must be a problem with my Firestick. I tried the internal Netflix and my Sony 900F “Display” button doesn’t display the resolution like it does for an external input.

Does anyone know how to tell Netflix not to send DolbyVision and/or HDR versions of 4K material? I'm having trouble with 4K movies that are either one. The colors get washed out when played on a projector without those technologies.

A LG PF1500, a Runco LS-5, a Runco Q750i, and a Marantz 15S1.

That Marantz model is a turntable .. as far as the projectors go, the age of those units are not going to allow any manual settings with which to adapt the 4K HDR feed, which is why I asked .. NF is not going to adapt a single feed into your gear to accommodate your issue ..

You are correct on both fronts. The Marantz is a VP-15S1. The concept I'm following is that a down scaled 4K source is better quality than a 1080P(HD) source brought straight over. On Netflix, according to my flat panel that can display picture details, all the 4K is DolbyVision. Some of Prime is HDR and Disney+ has HDR on 4K material. When the DV or HDR comes across to the HD projector, the picture is usually washed out; kind of a gray look. From another thread I determined that my Shield TV had the ability to send all the 4K material over unencumbered with the DV or HDR. With the proper setting it now looks great. Also, the new Shield, with a new AI scaling function does a great job of scaling HD up to 4K. So the result is a better than HD picture all around. To my eyes anyway.

You must disable HDR on the device you use to send video out to the projector.

By your last post I see you've managed to get it right with the Nvidia Shield TV.

First off - not sure where this Q? should be best asked- tell me and i’ll delete and go there. Tx.
I have this issue w/ Netflix… when we open up the app to stream NF. NF comes -On-. With a very Loud- “bing”. What happens here is when we are streaming othe apps. [AZ prime/ BR/OTA]
Each have some sound differences, but not much.
Then when NF is VERY loud and I try to turn the Volume down before the streaming starts up. Is there a way to adjust the vol. So NF doen’t just -jump out at us?

Netflix was among several online video providers that implemented measures back in March to reduce Internet traffic as shelter-in-place orders ramped up around the globe. Now that things have settled down a bit, we’re starting to see bitrates revert back to normal.

Netflix is doing consumers a solid by implementing a system that flags dormant accounts for possible cancellation. And if you're reading this, now may be a good time to reevaluate your subscription portfolio to carve out any unnecessary spending.
